Kings is an hour-long drama on NBC. They've billed it as, "What if America had a king?" but it's so much more. Kings is a thrilling political drama with layers of mystery and intrigue to unfold. Kings was filmed like a major motion picture, so the first 13 episodes are already in the can. It's up to us to watch them. It's up to us to say yes to original programming, to say yes to intelligent programming, and to demand more.
Follow the link to watch the first four episodes on Hulu. If you don't like it, that's okay. But at least give Kings a chance.
Plus the guy from Deadwood's in it! Who doesn't love that guy?
PS I'm not working for NBC or Hulu, I just really love this show.

I have to admit that I'm a fan of Kings. It has all of the elements that a good Shakespearian drama or ancient Greek tragedy with a unique, modern, alternate universe, kind of twist.
Give it a chance..

I think it's a good show, great visuals, and a very original story line. However, I'll take Breaking Bad and Dexter over Kings any day.

Breaking bad is extra cool. Then again Breaking Bad has the advantage of being on a network that not only tolerates but also encourages edginess.

i caught the premiere episode and it wasn't bad, to be honest i expected to be blown away by Kings so i'm kinda disappointed. I'll keep watching though. hopefully the best is yet to come.
