A woman living in the village of Prishakhtinsk, central Kazakhstan, claims that she is 130-years-old, making her the oldest living person on Earth.Sakhan Dosova began celebrating, what she claimed, was her 130th birthday on March 27 2009, with her family who also say she has reached such an age.
Dosova's passport and identification card show that she was born March 27, 1879 - the same year as Albert Einstein. Her birth certificate was never produced, as such records were not kept during the 19th century. If Dosova's age can be strictly proven it would result in her becoming the world's oldest living person today, taking over from Jeanne Calment in 1997 aged 122.
Evidence supporting Dosova brings her closer to that title. Soviet census records list her as being 46-years-old in 1926.
