Hannity Offers to be Waterboarded for Charity

Hahaha! This is amazing! Seeing Sean Hannity getting waterboarded would be a wonderful moment.

And afterwards, he might even do a Christopher Hitchens, who after being waterboarded admitted that it was in fact torture.

Please make this happen. I hope it makes Hannity confront the fact that everything he knows is a self-perpetuated lie.

I really hope that this is followed through with! I bet he will have more Dems and Liberals donating the funds to make this happen than GOPS and conservatives!

Keith Olbermann, although right on this issue, hasn't always taken other issues of opposing sides seriously either. He acts like its a huge surprise that anyone could disregard something he obviously feels strongly about. Hopefully he can remember this sensation when he finds some issue of someone else who vociferously advocates but merely has his mockery and entertainment-oriented program simply reduce it to a punch line.

I think Keith is hilarious and very smart. But he can't always take the higher ground when it comes to consistently due respect to others and their ideals, because he's in the same boat as Hannity and all other ratings-seeking pundits. They all call each other quacks and crazy, not always because the ideological divides are so wide, but perhaps because having tension and friction bring much-desired viewers.

Just to make it more real. Why don’t you go to live in a concrete box with no rights for a few weeks before being waterboarded, just for fun!

the only downside is that Hannity knows that he can make it stop when he wants to.
how about having special ops. snatch him off the street, hood him, take him to a clandestine location and hold him for a few days before they start the treatment.
then he could experience the full measure of enjoyment that goes with being an 'enemy combatant'.

I would love to see this happen and would consider donating some money myself if the circomstances were right. First, I think it would have to be for a set time. Something like 5 mins, so that he wouldn't have the mind set of being able to end it at any moment. Also it would need to be done by proffesionals in a realistic environment, not on his studio set, being half heartedly done by some of the people who work for him. In fact, I think it would be a real money raiser for the GOP if Glenn Beck and Bill O'Reilly would agree to the same. They could make a huge TV event of it. Maybe the idea of taking money from the pockets of all us Liberals and Democrats, would just be too strong of a pull for them to resist =D

Uhh, I wanna see that so bad! I want Sean Hannity to crack and admit to stabbing a hobo or something.

this is the weakest argument against torture!
willingly going in a safe element and being able to "tap out" on being fake-drowned is not at all comparable to someone kidnapping you, beating you, locking you up with out trial, and making you feel like you're dying over and over. it's a media campaign by the right to normalize Americans to this disgusting procedure.

I think Olberman should have offered $25 for every second, and $50 for every attempt. We'd see just how tough this blowhard is. Minimum 20 attempts.

I'm all for waterboarding. I was trying to get some of my friends to get drunk and do it with me. Cool idea. I wonder if it's as bad as they make it out to be.

bravo to Keith for offering to pony up the money. but i think we could get alot more money. we could torture all these egotistical pricks. we could torture limbaugh by depriving him of oxy and pizza. we could torture o'rielly by depriving him of sexually harassing his secretaries. we could torture glen beck by telling him that the liberal fascist army is two blocks away and he better get into the bunker.

As much as I want to see Hannity fake-drowned, you know he's going to fund one of those charities that pays people to say hateful things to 15 year olds going into Planned Parenthood.

The proof is in the pudding. If everyone that opined on waterboarding experienced it first hand, THEN you would have a much better debate.

Far too many things in our society are controlled and spoken about by people who seem to have no clue what they are speaking of first hand, nor compassion for the other poor people in the receiving end of it.

This sounds like a perfectly legitimate test.

How Hannity behaves afterwards will speak volumes about the pundits we are forced to experience on all sides of modern media debates.
