Save the St-Basil Convent in Beirut, Lebanon

The St-Basil Convent in Beirut, Lebanon is one of the last remaining Christian convents in Beirut, Lebanon that has not been sold yet. However it is currently awaiting approval from the Vatican and is in the process of being sold to a Saudi holding company for real-estate construction that targets oil-rich, wealthy people.

Lets protect this Historical Christian Landmark and keep it in a place that that can truly serve those of us who are in need.

More era ending, I was raised in a small town, that had a large Christian Lebanese population, that their grandparents had migrated here in the early 20's, after WWI. I bet they'd be interested in this.

I don't think it makes any sense to destroy a historical building to make way for condos for oil rich people.

I hope that the Vatican doesn't approve of the deal.
