cd dinosaurs go extinct for reloadable usb flash drives - the JDBMP3DPK

re-size
A midwest alternative country band has decided to stop printing and selling CDs, and is now offering their new songs to owners of the new Josh Davis Band MP3 Digital Portal Key ---JDBMP3DPK for short --- a USB flash drive imprinted with the band's logo.

The Josh Davis Band is selling the JDBMP3DPK only at shows for $6 - preloaded with 3 new songs. Fans return to future shows and bring their flash drives for more content --- new songs, live tracks, videos, photos, whatever the band wants to give out, as long as it fits on the drives.

(special appearance by St. Vitus & the Taxi Dancers)

What a revolutionary way to keep fans current with the band and its music! And no stacks of cds lying around once you've added them to your itunes. Awesome! And love the burlesque!

I love it. While I still love vinyl and the ability to actually read the words of a full album sleeve, I think this is a much more responsible, affective and engaging way of getting the music out there.

I think it's very revolutionary, makes great sense for the times in which we live, and builds the 'fan/band' relationship into what it was meant to be. Definitely a wonderful concept and one that I may put to use in the future! Kudos gents.
