I think it's very revolutionary, makes great sense for the times in which we live, and builds the 'fan/band' relationship into what it was meant to be. Definitely a wonderful concept and one that I may put to use in the future! Kudos gents.

I love it. While I still love vinyl and the ability to actually read the words of a full album sleeve, I think this is a much more responsible, affective and engaging way of getting the music out there.

I don't think the band would mind at all. Their goal is to get their music in the hands of as many people as possible. A P2P network would only speed that up.
The ultimate goal these days, even for a major label act, is to get people to shows. This brings them back. And if people give away the music, well, maybe someone else will hear it and come to a show.

What a revolutionary way to keep fans current with the band and its music! And no stacks of cds lying around once you've added them to your itunes. Awesome! And love the burlesque!
