I don't see anything that says the government can take guns, what the hell is wrong with registration of guns and ammo unless you don't want anybody knowing you got a gun. Most gun owners (and I am one myself) are law abiding people. Guns in the wrong hands has never been a good thing for anybody. Taking guns away from law abiding citizens will never happen in this country. There would be too much blood shed if it did.

I have heard this argument for a very long time, never seen it happen. MotherForTruth stop being afraid, I know the right wing loves too scare the crap out of people to keep them in line, but most of us have seen through the vail of fear and realize that being afraid all the time is no way to live. But if somebody knocks on your door and takes your gun let us know and will get you a new one.

FUCK NO!!!!! I'm no gun nut, BUT remember when the Germans invaded Poland. They had the list of gun owners. we already have a national gun registry program. if you legally own a gun you are a part of it. this would be for when legally owned guns end up in the hands of mexicans etc they can find out where it came from and then back track and find out how it got out of the country. you are allowed to own guns but one must consider who is traitorous if your weapons are ending up in the hands of terrorists like the mexican cartels who are killing americans.
