A racing car that is partially made from vegetables and runs on chocolate has had its first track test this week. Although there's been no mention of what speeds it's capable of, one expects it's quicker than anyone who's accidentally chomped through a bar or two of Ex-Lax.The steering wheel "contains" carrots, wing mirrors are constructed in potato starch and brake pads make the most of cashew nut shells.
This tasty piece of engineering is thanks to a team from Warwick University, England.

It's all good, that's being featured in the US. This is being featured in the main Upstream channel in the UK! (which is obviously LOADS better ;)

What a brilliant idea! As the doc said in Back to the Future said, "Where we're going we don't need roads... or scrapyards" as he munched on the chocolate flux capacitor...

Instead of scrapping it when it gets too old to work properly - can we eat it?
