Dutch cannabis cafes become private members

this should help their economy along with the recent banning of magic mushrooms. can i still purchase prostitutes from store windows?

I'm thinking the membership that takes a few days to process will be the cheap one and then you'll have the expensive "Insta-deluxe" type membership that'll cost 5 times as much but be instantaneous but only good for a week. That way they can bleed the drug tourists on every trip and make more cash.

Dirty trick but betcha they'll make a tonne more cash with it.

*used to work in a private gentleman's club with the same kind of deal for foreign travelers. the owner made an extra $5000.00 a week just on the tourists.

The Dutch might be on to something here. Why not open these cafe/smokehouses here, and that way, they wouldn't have all this bullshit about medical marijuana. I'm going to the cafe to catch a buzz. Not, I need to get a script from my doctor, for $100, to go buy some medical buds and treat my, glaucoma, nausea from cancer drugs, bad back pain that I can't take regular pain killers for, appetite enhancer for my stomach problems etc., etc.

The first thing I thought about libertyhemp. This is to bad and I am sad to see this happen but maybe it is for the best because now Germany and France may legalize Mother Nature.

As more and more cafes close a little part of my soul closes and dies with it.

It is hard or maybe even impossible to stop people from getting what they want. I wonder if some residents would become members, specifically to sell pot to tourists.

We have that in NYC for smokers .. Cigar Clubs I think they call them. Pretty smart actually. They charge like a buck for membership. I believe some serve alcohol so it's like a bar for smokers (Since smoking is no longer allowed in NYC in bars)

There are hookah bars where I live that are private memberships to get around the Clean Air Act. (no smoking inside)

They have instant new membership so they are just using it as a loophole. I think once the Dutch realize the revenue lost they will just adapt this new membership system to the same.

I am sure that once they realize that the tourism dollars went away it will change. These are not the times to change economy for any country.

Why are people in search of drugs such a nuisance?

Besides being cut off from the cure, the Dutch are going to loose several million dollars in the tourism trade.

I would say they are cutting their own throats by instating these new laws and will regret their decision when they see how much they are loosing in the end.
