Was H5N1 Swine Flu laboratory made and released on purpose?

The H5N1 Swine Flu virus has spread to 33 countries to date. 6,497 cases have been reported and more than 60 people have died after becoming infected. Is this just another case of natural disaster or is it as one Australian scientist theorizes , not a natural phenomena in fact, but something which was created by man, in a laboratory?
