Wonderfully insightful and lighthearted poem by Shel Silverstein. I thought it was delightful to find that one of my favorite children's authors wrote more adult themed poetry. I really enjoyed "The Giving Tree" when I was a child, and it's just interesting to add more layers to something I had already loved.
