The album's going to be sweet! He's more fun to watch live, though... I hope he plays LA again sometime soon!

This concept is nuts. Walking past everyday citizens in Osaka while rhyming? Absolutely nuts.

    Way to be.

Authentic connection to Japan is getting more real. Nice to see a real Japanophile at work in Mos Def.

I love this. I love everything about this, especially the scenery. For real. The colors are so vibrant and the song is very very good.

This is a true showcase of Hip Hop. He is proving that you don't need all the fancy cars, nice jewelry, and about 100 people in a video, when it is one man band show. We need more videos like this.

I've been listening to mos def for about 8 years and have always appreciated the messages he chooses to send through his poetry.

It's so funny, you can't spell "CRAP" without "RAP"!!

You cannot get much better than Mos Def. He is an amazing musician, rapper, and actor. In my personal opinion, after hearing The Ecstatic, I am convinced it is the best hip-hop album of 2009! He is truly what the sound of hip-hop has to be! Mos, save us from this crunk bullshit all over the radio!

shutter, LL joined G Unit?!? well its been downhill before that... let's not forget the Puffy Era of the Mid-90s.... but hip-hop always go through this and then someone redeems it and brings it back to the realness... hopefully Mos can lead the charge!

oh i tell ya what, if Big Pun was still around, Fat Joe would be better than he is now. I remember when his jealous ones envy came out... he was hard! success is still one of my fav. songs from that era!!

and if pac was still alive a lot of cats in the industry wouldnt be eating the way they are... i mean i like nas and jay z but i know that jay z wouldnt be as big as he is now if pac was still around...

and yeah Big L was tiiiiiiight... lifestyles of the poor and dangerous, boy!!!! need i say more... and tell me u didnt lose ya mind first time u heard Ebonics!
