Okay, so I'm a bit bummed, because I was gonna do something oh so similar on my website (when my ex gets round to putting the bloomin' thing together), but I think it's such a good idea, no hard feelings Oxfam, I will tell people about you.As part of the relaunch of their Camden shop, Oxfam have teamed with designer Mrs Jones to style the peeps in this video using items found only at the shop. More than that though, she has taken the clothes, and with minimal fuss and effort recreated them - the Jeans-to-Skirt, the Tshirt-to-Hammerpants - and shows you where to get started.
What more could you ask for in these times of thrift?
Now, where did I put my needle and thread...no, serious, I've lost them, have you seen them? Small reward going begging.

My friend turned a t-shirt into a skirt. It looked good.

Awesome piece, these guys deserve the best brand backing of them all. A pretty cool Oxfam store if you haven't yet been: 570-572 Kingsland Road, London.

That's a pretty cool idea. I was at the London Clothes Show last weekend and they had a stall there. It was good to see that they're making efforts to be competitive in the fashion market rather than just taking a back seat.
And I love refashioning clothes, and with less disposable income these days, it's a great way to feel like I have new stuff. - 8 months ago
