And as soon as it began, it's almost over. After the months of planning, frantic friend-finding and following, Facebook vs. Twitter is on the grand finale! Our two teams, ingeniously named Team Twitter and Team Facebook, have been sent off into the wilderness, armed only with cameras, laptops and the login details to their chosen weapon (read: social network) in their personally customised camper vans. All week they've been sent off to a new (unbeknown to them) location where they've had to enlist the help of their Facebook friends/Twitter followers to complete the tasks they're set on the Upstream show on Current TV.
On Monday, Team Twitter, made up of Webmash host, Anne Foy, and two Associate Producers, Sylvia and Charlotte, were sent to Manchester, where they performed to a sold out crowd of 200 stand-up loving punters.
Team Facebook, consisting of Upstream host Stew Game, and two VC2 producers, Donal and Fraser, were sent packing to Edinburgh where they performed the jokes they’d been sent over Facebook. They’re just weren't sure to how many people they would be trying to make laugh. Could've been 50, could've been 500…
The teams need YOUR assistance to help them complete their final challenges which were set live on Upstream last night.
Check below in the comments for the run down of the challenges the teams have been set throughout the week and for all their updates check: http://current.com/facebookvtwitter
