Jim Starr has never made any secret of the fact he uses cannabis. He recently presented a petition to the front door at Number 10 Downing Street, in support of a law change which would allow seriously ill people like himself, to use their pain reliever of choice.
But that was before the British police "service" removed Mr Starr from his home, distressing his wife in the process, and took him to a police station for a strip search.
