This is a woman we are talking about here, a woman who was assaulted by ignorant teenagers. Would you go around beating up women? Christ invites you to Live and have eternal life. Submitting to teaching will not save you, only accepting and knowing Christ will result in salvation.
If you do not believe in God then why are you offended if God has rejected you.

You say you accept that there are non-believers, but you paradoxically don't believe that they exist. I say this because you allow unimatrix to be a non-believer but then say that uni has to ask "why am I not worthy of Gods invitation to Life?" That assumes that God exists and that the problem is unimatrix for not believing in what you believe, rather than accepting uni's view to be legitimate.

I don't have a problem expanding a hate-crime law to include transgender persons, but the law hinges on the intent of the offender, not the status/situation of the victim. Based on the facts in the story link, the law is triggered because the thugs thought the victim was gay. The law would also have been triggered if they didn't care about her sexual orientation, but beat her because they thought she was Jewish.

That being said, if the thugs beat her because they thought she was transgendered, then under the current law no hate crime would have occurred.

You have pointed out a weakness in hate crime laws in that someone can escape prosecution for a hate crime by simply denying their real motivation for being intolerant and violent regardless of how many types of people are given protection.

Agreed, but honestly, when has talking truly SOLVED anything? It may postpone it, it may delay it for time, but eventually shit will go down. No one should forget we are in the animal kingdom. I don't know where the 13 year olds you know are from but where I am that 180 lb limit doesn't exists. My 14 year old son is 5'11" and 220 lbs and starts his day with 75 push ups and 100 situps and he can bench press 280lbs. He's also starting to shave and he doesn't start high school till this coming September.

Most of the kids I played hockey and football with were bigger than 180 at 13 too. Kids aren't always little tadgers anymore.

My son is just following in the family genetic footsteps.
