Sir Paul McCartney calls for meat-free Mondays to combat climate change
Together with his daughters Stella and Mary and a host of other A list stars, the former Beatle wants everyone to give up meat on Mondays.
The aim of the campaign – called Meat Free Monday – is to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from the world's livestock population, thought to be a major cause of global warming.

I think that's awesome. I don't go out of my way to not eat meat once a week but it ends up happening anyways. it's a small but good step towards change without asking anyone to sacrifice anything big.

This could potentially amount to a lot of positive change.
I'm glad to see that Paul McCartney is still using his power for good.

Catholics and fishermen should fall in line re-promote meatless Fridays again

Many celebrities, scientists and professors support the fact that a veggie diet can help preserve our environment and resources. For example a veggie diet can literally end world hunger while preventing deforestation; soil degradation; oceanic dead zones; air and water pollution and mitigate climate change.
