At first I thought these was for asthma sufferers. Or I guess maybe ADHD children or adults.I was thinking of Ridilin and I know that you must be evaluated to be diagnosed this. and I'm trying to watch the video Can someone tell me what to do to make my video work better. it stops and plalys, it's never fully buffered. What makes the video run smoothly?

Anyway, I have heard that Adder-all does make kids concentrate better. Never taken them though. I used to give my son Ridilin and it helped, but then we took him off, and changed his diet. It seemed to have worked. I don't know. I still think he has ADHD and he's almost 20 yrs old! It's now called Adult ADHD. But this video seems more for ADD, am I right?? \ I need help with my video player. :(

I'm sure this sounds mean...but...they sound like speed addicts. Since it comes in a pill from a doctor makes it ok for them

didn't seem to make her smart enough to stop smoking...
... or stop using "like" as a punctuation mark in her sentences....

increased tobacco use is a common side effect for speed, which can contribute to decreased appetite, which encourages smoking.

glad to see justine, at least, recognize the nature of the beast, but it's a shame that her experience led her to so strongly dislike something that should be helpful. medication alone won't supply the cognitive restructuring necessary to overcome the symptoms of ADD and positively change long-term behavior. without guided assistance (structured therapeutic schedule with concrete goals and established guidelines for discontinuation, a.k.a. hands-on parenting with a little help from lots of friends) the child is at a marked disadvantage. do the research. therapy rocks. pills help, but most of the time pills should only help for a period of years, not decades.

When I was in college, I tried Adderall and it seemed to make school a lot more fun! I mean really fun! I wanted to answer every question and learn everything I could. I attribute this to just plain ol' being high!
Because when I ran out of the medication, school was a bore! I mean nothing sounded interesting anymore. It was like I had been tainted. Learning on adderall was so fun, literally, that when I did not have it, I didn't even feel like a proper student anymore.
This feeling went away after about a week or so, but I honestly feel that the way it worked for me was that it made me high. And anything that I do while high seems better and more fun!
But I wish I never would have felt that high at school because it took away from the natural high one gets from learning something new. But I suppose it has its purposes!?

I think everyone in this video has a high tolerance because they all seem so stupid! I have been considering getting something for my adhd but if that helps me be as focused as these guys I will find an alternative.

A lot of people I know do this as a recreational drug. Is it really that great? I have always hated uppers but I take classes after work and could really use the help staying up and getting good grades, but I'm afraid of the neurological consequences.

When your natural chemisrtry is fucked up, there's nothing, at least man made that can fix it. PS. I hate fuckin' doctors.

i was prescribed drugs like Adderall for years to help me with my school work and i hated it. when i was on Adderall i felt like another person all together. i have been drug free (perspiration drugs at least) since i started my College Carree and I'm about to get my Bachlors of Arts Degree with a 3.25 average. I also feel that I'm more creative with medication like Adderall.

Adderall is basically just Dextroamphetemine, or speed as we called it in the 70s.

It's chemical makeup is similar to LSD, with one missing part. We learned when taking "dexies" and smoking pot at the same time, filled in that missing part, and you could have a short and pleasant 2 hour trip. Not that it would make your smarter, but it was enjoyable nonetheless.

I wasn't diagnosed until I was 36 years old. I had years that I made all F's and a couple years I made all A's in school. Adderall (generic) has made a huge difference for the better. This whole criticism of it is based on The Church Of Scientologies belief that all Psychiatry is bad. Three cheers for Adderall!

Adderall is synthetic speed just as Oxy Conton is synthetic heroin..doctors are legal drug dealers.

I read an interesting article about this drug a couple of months ago. I wish I could find it now.

Anyway the writer tried Adderall after hearing all the hubub and he said he found that his concentration increased ten fold and that he was able to be very productive while getting very little sleep.

Overall he found the drug to have very few side effects but what scared him was the idea of becoming productively dependent on the drug so he put the pills away and said he would not take them again unless he was under a very hard deadline and needed that little extra edge.

I have to admit I would not mind trying it but I would have no clue how to get it other than through doctor and I have no insurance right now so I guess I will just have to stay stupid for now. :)

this is a really great, short piece regarding a rampant problem on college campuses (that's trickled into high schools)

Trust me people, you don’t need Adderall

Unless you have ADHD or you want to know what it’s like to be a speed freak for a night, don’t do it

Yeah, this probably will help with ADHD in terms of focus and might not attack the digestive system like coffee binges (enjoyed foe whatever reason). Sounds like a classic "try it, judge for yourself" proposition.

i guess it is like any other drug - some use properly and some don't...

I am 22 years old. I just got diagnosed with adult ADHD about 3 months ago. I take Vyvanse. It is a newly developed trial, that has adderall as its main component. The catch is that it is time released, meaning it lasts through out the day and I never get the 'speed high' that many people look for in common adderall, like some in this video. Also, it has never taken away from my appetite, I am never able to take it to stay up so I never really lose sleep unless I really try to. I've smoked for 5 years, and though I have yet to quit, I definitely have cut down considerably. It may seem like I am claiming to have the perfect pill, but you must remember that not everyone reacts the same to all pills. Plus I am not using it to solve issues I have with concentrating and being productive, but as a bridge to maturing into a more productive person. I do not think Vyvanse would have much benefit for anyone trying to take it randomly one day; it took time for it to really help me. I do recommend everyone prescribed adderall to check it out, ask your doctors about it. Like I said, its new and on trial; my doctor was able to get me 3 months free of prescription. Hope I am of some help.

Adderall will help work ethic and focus but it does curb creativeness.
