I find this video rather sexist. The way the girlfriend is portrayed is awful: Woman tricks man into moving in together. Woman insists on watching wedding marathons with man. Woman is controlling of man's schedule. Woman makes man play scrabble rather than hang out with his friends. Woman "rearranges your life and ruins everything you love and hold dear..." Man will become ashamed of knowing the difference between a duvet and a comforter thus compromising his machoism. Eugene even says that this is an exact map of what happens when men and women move in together, as if every woman is a needy control freak.

    Thumbs down.

this video wasn't sexist, it was a perfect example of how to be a doormat for a controlling significant other. excellent d-bag instructional pod. thumbs up!

I read the title and thought: "Well, I have tried living with OTHER guys' girlfriends, but it always seems to lead to hard feelings..."

this guy is a terrible narrator, and the acting is horrible.

I think some of you are being a bit too critical. I thought it was funny and I really enjoyed watching it.

i really enjoyed watching the video! i think it's great - I especially like the part with the spray in the bathroom... And the part about the brother quizzing the boyfriend was hilarious!

I also enjoyed all the actors - the narrator especially. His acting, facial expressions, and little narratives were great and really, really funny!

All in all I thought it was a really fun play on what can happen if you live with your girlfriend.

Here's a tip genius. Instead of dating someone becuase their looks impress your friends and they let you have intercourse with them, stop being so emotionally lazy and actually make the effort to date someone that you actually have stuff in common with and get u!!

I'm sure you are unfamiliar with this concept seeing as how you view relationships as something to tolerate in order to avoid excessive masterbation.

Not all women watch bridal shows and austin movies or are completely intolerant of anything that interests the man in their life.

IT IS NOT NORMAL TO ACCEPT THAT IN A RELATIONSHIP! BEING WITH SOMEONE DOES NOT MEAN YOU SUPPRESS WHO YOU ARE!!YOU'RE ACTUALLY SUPPOSED TO BE HAPPY!!

Don't blame all of women-kind becuase your afraid to be who you are with someone. It's not their fault that you don't believe your good enough...

    Wimp.

wow, some people obviously don't have a sense of humor! THAT WAS AWESOME!! :-)

i'm a female and that didn't offend me in the least, because unfortunately there ARE women out there like that. plus, it was meant to be funny, not to be taken seriously. come on ladies, loosen up!!

the main actor was HYSTERICAL! l'd watch more videos w/ him in it.....tooo funny! :-) Nice work.

some have said this video came off sexist...

well, it tapped into a lot of honest thoughts that guys have living with a girlfriend, myself included.

"i saw the first overtime, i don't need to see the second." ...classic.

and thus, it's hilarious and should be required viewing.

    John,
We spoke in my office about six years ago, Mike Sewell used to work for your dad and he sent you. You have matured my man, to wide sage status. Nicely done.

    Regarding this pod...

Eugene's problem, and the problem with most men under 30, is that he needs to grow some balls and actually stand up for his rights and wants in a relationship. Equal respect leads to cooperation and true compromise, not a passive-aggressive multi-month fuck romp. Though maturity would seem the ultimate cure for his and many of his generations condition, many are now breaching their early and mid-30's while still failing to make this realization and achieve a stable, committed relationship.

The 18 years of my marriage have demanded great amounts of effort, time and sacrifice and have awarded me with an amazing and deeply enriching relationship and the best friend and partner I could've hoped for.

A shame that Eugene, who is obviously aware that he is lacking something enough that he was compelled to make a pod detailing how a failed relationship (with a percieved alpha female) wasn't his fault, obviously lacks the insight to look into his own pod and see that if he doesn't make some fundamental adjustments to his character that he'll eventually share in the destiny that so many of his generation seem doomed to discover: middle-aged and desperate to find someone/anyone so they don't grow old and die alone.

Therefore, in the effort to spare Eugene and so many others such a lonely fate (sure you love being single...until a holiday, a birthday or until you get sick) I offer the following advice: If you're comfortable enough with another person to have sex with them, then you should have enough guts to be in the bathroom at the same time. Poke and prod every orifice and swap just about every fluid in the bedroom with no problems, but you get grossed out at the thought of you both in the bathroom and one of you is taking a piss or dropping a deuce? Grow the fuck up and realize that if you want true and lasting love, then you have to accept it, warts and all.

Some people seem to have taken this pod a little too seriously... I watched it and laughed my ass off. Then I immediately called my husband and apologized for taking over his life when I moved in with him because I saw a lot of myself in that girlfriend. I especially related to all the plans making and bathroom questions.
Anyone who found this pod to be sexist needs to lighten up a little. I thought it was hilarious.

    Depends on the girl...

    Depends on the relationship...

If you can just find a girl you truly have lots in common with I presume the results improve in my experience.

Most of my girlfriends have been pretty cool...but it's a bitch 'un-moving in'...so my theory was now to only seriously date girls I would consider marrying...

It's a work in progress...we'll see which lessons apply and which ones don't, but will damn sure laugh if/when specific similar experiences happen.

If it's the right girl...I wouldn't mind hanging out with her all day. Sue me...but my friends aren't nearly as cool as some of my girlfriend's have been. lol Hey, I'm a simple creature. I like fun and happiness.

This was absolutely hilarious and very well done.

As far as the story, here's my take.

If you want to live with your girlfriend, maybe you should make sure you have something in common. If you move in with a douche bag with a pretty face, welcome to a life of watching WE.

If you must have the airhead and you have nothing in common, maybe don't be a total pushover and do EVERYTHING she wants. Maybe you actually like gardening and she might have a new found affection for sports. ah, compromise.

Or at least you can assert your right to do your own thing.

But! if it was a functional relationship, it wouldn't be very entertaining- so cheers for entertainment. Who doesn't like to laugh at two douchebags?
