Only in Korea now, but I'm sure the rest of the world will get our dirty hands on it soon enough!

it appears that one must wear glasses while watching. small annoyance, but it could get as annoying as trying to find the remote. "HONEY! HAVE YOU SEEN MY 3-D GLASSES?!"

All you need is a 120hz+ tv to be able to have 3d screen. Nvidia stereoscopic 3d glasses is all you need. And these 2 can be had, I'm sure, for much less than this TV. Also, good wording on your title, as there have been 3d monitors for awhile (http://www.pcpro.co.uk/reviews/145185/zalman-trimon-zmm220w.html)

There are better 3d televisions out there that don't require you to wear glasses. They are coming out in the next year.

Yah, they have projection-based tv's in development that are AWESOME.
I heard Terrintino and some other investors are looking to start a movie-theater group based on 3d projection, it would be a coliseum-style seating arrangement with the 'show' in the middle. Anyone have any info on this?

or.. you could get a 3d laptop, or just a 3d film and specs, or a ps3 with their '3d' stuff awell tbh its not that amazing. Reason: Not alot will use the 3d function and to be honest are tha many people really bothered about 3d anymore: 90s it would have been amazing cause everyone seemed to believe the future was in virtual reality and 3d. Now lots of things are coming out in 3D but do many people care, or should i say do many people care enough to spend high amounts on these 'high-end 3-Dimensional TV's' - my guess is not many. Until prices go down probably but even still not that bothered.

this could really hurt the film industry. 3D/RealD is 1 of the few things that theaters can offer that is not currently commercially available for home theater systems.

Wouldn't TV stations have to change their broadcast for this to work?
