The Green Day bassist, Mike Dirnt, has recently collaborated with vegan shoe manufacturer Macbeth, to design is own trainer, the '45 RPM Schubert'.Costing nearly $80 or nearly £50, the shoes itself contain no animal products on it. I thought this was pretty cool when i first read about it on digg a little earlier. The premise is really neat, and getting a pop-culture act involved is pretty rad as well.
That said, I need arch support and a solid heel because I pronate, so if the products are flat, no dice.

Yikes. I don't understand why vegan shoe companies can't manufacture normal shoes. Some of us aren't in it for the fashion statement.

Macbeth seems to be for image only, i got a pair and they have no foot support and really hurt my legs. they have a totally flat sole. Im not really particular about these types of things usually.
