Sharpton arrives for Arpaio meeting

The sometimes controversial civil rights activist is in town from New York for a much hyped face-to-face meeting at 1:30 p.m. today with Sheriff Joe Arpaio, whose office has been accused of racial profiling and civil rights violations while conducting "immigration sweeps" of certain Maricopa County neighborhoods.
"Let me make this clear. We are not here about Sheriff Joe as much as we are here about Citizen Jose," Sharpton said. "This is not a showdown between Sheriff Joe and Reverend Al. This is a showdown of right versus wrong, justice versus injustice."
