yeah! i think it's a great idea...it's fun to read who is featured and get to know a little more about them.
possibly we could do both ideas? maybe you can pick from nominations if they're coming in, and if noms are light, you could just interview your favs...and then, at the end of the week, have like a "this week in new members" and have a round up of cool new people and their cool new posts!
just a thought....

I like the community member features. I think you should take nominations via email/dm/twitter and then you should pick who to feature.

How when and why not?
I agree with jeff and mgreener, do that!
-
I say, just pick anybody....

I' m a novice, maybe a little bit higher; but this sounds cool to me chirp at me from tome to tome about the green community and activties going on...........I would like to nominate Leonardo Decaprio if he's included......

i'd like to suggest using the Green link in the green part of the header, http://current.com/green/ and creating a new section on that page, something like "Green Community Focus" and make it "about" the green people [if it weren't sexist and exclusionary, i'd love to suggest LGM, for "Little Green Men"...]

OK!!! We are on!! I'm not so sure about LGM feature (although it made me laugh). But here is a start!
