China may be arguing to replace the US dollar but in my opinion that will not solve anything. Click Here---> http://thevenusproject.com/ what do you think about that?

China's upset that "someone's" counterfeiting money to pay back (or lower real) debt? Understandable.

Actually, I don't understand why the people right here, at home, aren't irate about this massive increase in the money supply. What's even more baffling, is that a lot of people are actually behind all of this massive government spending (bailouts, war, stimulus, etc...). Insanity.

Yea I agree bbar. Its nuts. The whole "left vs right" thing is so stupid. It should get turned on its ear and we should be arguing about big vs. small. Live within your means should be applied to everyone and everything.

China is buying up lots of gold right now to protect their money and are trying to dump dollars since it is losing value. This is very smart of them. Everyone else should be doing the same.

Does anyone really care what communist China thinks about US currency?

And who are they to urge US to change OUR currency?

I'd like to urge them to adopt Capitalism...

I agree with China. What currency should we change to you ask? How about the Yuan. That should make them happy. It also has the potential to be the most stable currency in the world. Currency stability is all about supply vs. demand. No better country than China for that kind of stability because of their access to what I will call the "human window". See when supply gets out of hand you just "remove" however many people might need money. Ta Da! What other country could a million people or so just dissappear where hardly anyone in the world would even notice. Once again, problem solved!

Personally i think china should go fuck themselves.

Thier only trying to make their economy stronger by trying to replace their shitty money with the U.S Dollar.

For those who don't know why i'm being such an ass.

    1.00 USD
    = 6.83450 CNY

United States Dollars China Yuan Renminbi
    1 USD = 6.83450 CNY 1 CNY = 0.146316 USD

I just cannot understand why for years at the rate of 10 to 12 billion a month poured into the Iraq occupation and nobody on the right saw that as a problem...cut taxes open the doors of the treasury to Haliburton, etc.
Now this president spends money to do something that actually saves jobs and provides financing to create others and you guys are going nuts about the deficit.
What else can this be except bitterness about your side no longer deciding how the money is spent....deny it all you want , it's predictable that you will...but at least be honest about your intentions...Rush said he spoke for all of you as well as himself when he said he hopes this president fails...and I'll be damned if that isn't your mission now. However, just as FDR said in a famous speech.."this nation will endure , as it has endured" So I don't think that China , or you of the right are going to be able to stop this nation as it evolves into a 21st century nation. Replace the dollar and in 10 years that will be recognized as a huge mistake.

Actually a non-state controlled currency should be the international reserve currence; but who is going to control it? The New World Order or some shadow government we have not imagined yet.
You think maybe the free market economy has never been free; capitalism has outlived its practicality?

The Federal Reserve was a terrible idea meant from the beginning to benefit the already very rich. Unfortunately, most world currency is created using a similar process. The gold standard was a better system. Hell the ancient salt standard was better. Unfortunately nothing will ever change. They own your dollars=you need your dollars=they own you. Hey but you can always vote every 4 years for door #1 or door #2. Democracy is awesome!

Playing along side with our gov. to make way for Amero

This was all planned by the Federal Reserve and Bush and Obama helped the Federal Bank to break the natioon and deflated the dollar to where the Billions or trillions of dollars of the Chinese investment in the USA is only worth pennies on the Dollar. This is how the Federal Reserve Bank in reality does not own a cent of America since the only thing the print is fiat and it has no value. So if all the States all declare their choice to secede from the Union and start minting their own currency the Federal Reserve Bank would be Broke. I wonder if the iNternational courts could indict these people and bring them to justice.

Anybody that thinks that the Amero is not a reality really has their head in the sand.

China already owns most of the mortgage notes to commercial and residential property in this country. AIG was started in China in 1919. They were kicked out in 1933 and re-introduced by Reagan in 1985. Their subsidiary American General Finance, the mortgage finance company, is headquartered in Shanghai, China today. When all of the mortgage notes were securitized and bundled on Wall Street, then illegally sold to overseas investors, the bulk of them went to China.

They own homes and commercial property all over America. They're using this as leverage to collapse our dollar and created a new currency.

The American people better wake the fuck up real soon. Washington D.C. and Wall Street have sold us all out to the foreign banks.

get real china, do you think we are that stupid to let you change the international currancy to your favor. you already own too much in the us, and let us not forget the hackers who tried to infiltrate and disable our internet, pentagon, you have sleeper cells here, and we will find you. NO PRESIDENT OBAMA,DO NOT AGREE TO CHANGE THE CURRANCY. LOOK AT THE BIG PICTURE. THE CHINESE ARE TRYING TO QUIETLY GAIN AN EDGE ON US. they don't care about us. be cautious.

some fairly dimwitted people here on current, i'll tell ya! =D

imagine a forex market with these new pairs:

    GYRO/AMMO
    AFRO/CHINO
    OBAMO/OSAMO

and then there's CHF (swiss frank) which stands alone and becomes the only true money out there. haha

Back in the early 80's people thought the Japanese Yen would be the new standard. If things keep going with the US like they have been since the failed Bush years and if China keeps getting stronger then the change is inevitable. But America could always pull through again like it did last time (hopefully without a rightwing tool like Regan this time) and Chine could always hit a bump in the road, you never know.
