Yeah I am going off the grid of electricity goes up no thanks to Al Gore and Bilderberg buddy barack Osama.

Well maybe I should thank AL gore because thanks to him this false system will fall to pieces and we will get out of America when this all happens, ha and everyone else will struggle to get bread while I will move to a country where I can get a cure for diabetes and eat a large feast.

oh and this blog and article is protected under the first amendment and I have a right to go off the grid and not support the economy.

Exactly D. The only way to go off the grid, assuming you aren't going Unibomber, is to equip your house with alternative energy sources. The environmentally concerned would be pleased, and I'm certain the government could give a fuck, whack job.

We're in an economic crisis you know. Worst since The Great Depression. Obama said so. Is this really the time to raise energy costs? What will you do when your utility and grocery bills double? There goes the extra $13 a week stimulus Obama gave us.

Yes Folks the bill as come due for our over use of natural resources. Living beyond are Means. Such as buying shit that has no real value with credit. if someone wants to blame high electricity prices on a person or entity they should blame the fact that electric companies have a monopoly in every city. does anyone here have access to two separate places to get electricity from? just curious because everywhere i have lived there is only one option.

I get basic cable and the slowest internet the cable company offers which is plenty fast. My electric bill for May was $20 less in my all electric apartment then my cable/internet. My electric company is quasi government owned, and of course cable internet is private. Do the math. Government's so called "inefficiency" is far out paced by the greed of the private sector.

HAHAHA I hope you do go off the grid! then you won't have internet access to post your blogs. You can just keep a journal and self publish. HA! Sure freedom of speech is great! So is duct tape for use of binding all your self published books you made at the copy machine at the public library. Oh wait, there are no copy machines and libraries "off the grid". And by the way jerk-wad, in case you didn't realize, global warming is on a *ahem* GLOBAL scale. That means world-wide. As in, the whole earth, genius. And for anyone who may not know by now, there isn't very many places left that aren't "on the grid". Practically the entire planet is connected and uses electricity and plumbing (at least to a certain degree). So where do you plan to go? The north pole? Perhaps the south pole? Or maybe some isolated jungle in the southern hemisphere somewhere. That's sure to keep you cool. And you'll have plenty of material for your great American romance novel RIGHT. hahaha dork.

Boy oh boy. The minute someone goes against the loony liberals and says something that is true or makes sense they get slammed as a "whack job" or made fun of generally. The fact remains that man made global warming is still unproven. However, since Obamunism demands adherence to the party line the cap and trade bill was passed. The only thing this will do is kill production in this country but hey, not to support this opens one up to charges of not caring about the planet. This is sorta like charges of racism. Both conditions are often found where it really doesn't exist but used as a pretext for social engineering and advancement of government power.

That said, I am totally in favor of reducing electric grid dependence. When we built our house we put in solar domestic hot water, geothermal HVAC, and the closed cell spray foam insulation. Energy upgrades are probably along the lines of 25k but my energy bill last month was $39. What I do not support is the government intervention in this matter, especially given the lack of scientific support. It is a fraud. The cap and trade is a tax. We need to abandon Obamunism before it destroys any more of this country.

That's funny. In the same sentence that you whine about being made fun of, you call the opposition "loony liberals". If you don't like it done to you, don't do it to others.

On the topic though, there is plenty of evidence that global warming exists. You're just not looking for it. You're satisfied with politicians and conspiracy theorists telling you it's a fraud, so you stop you're research there. The truth is that not all scientists are climatologists, and we should really be listening to them as it is their field of expertise, and they are the ones who have done the vast majority of the research. The truth is that 97% of climatologists agree the global warming is ocurring and that humans play a role in it.
