Yes, it's from Fox News, so most of you will deny it out of hand....
But the next few weeks' news reports should prove QUITE interesting, even to you.

Don't forget Inhoff thinks the global warming thing was made up by the weather channel for better ratings.

I am just imagining a guy like you having a heart attack and a replica of you debating with you about the validity of your heart attack.
That leave us to the conclusion that some people will never (get it) until it happens to them. So, if it is not happening to me, Who cares, right? I am just going to laugh and argue that it does not exit.
That is explained in psychology about a person that has been possessed by a great selfish behavior and therefore unable to interpret anything related to the suffering of others. By the way, psychology would never find that out if was not for cultural religious beliefs that defined the word "selfish" a long time ago. Yeah! go figure!
Ps: By the way your class does nothing to move people into action about doing something to change what is emergent to people health and well being. Right now, we need people that can act to change what is wrong and not people that just seat there and debate on bogus interpretation.

And all of the other scientists from around the world are in on it....sshhhh.

"Plusaf", has a good point. Many years ago, while taking an advanced statistics course, required reading was a small paperback book, "How to Lie with Statistics". If it is still in print, I suggest it as reading material. The point of the book was that statistics can be slanted to prove a certain point without actually being false.

What about this "addiction for the new" leaving fundamental and important issues behind and unresolved.
