Cocaine or Marijuana? The everyday problems of a pot smoker
This was a rant that is technically a response to (link at bottom) but I decided to post it alone.
I'm really starting to feel that the progress of humanity has come to a halt, or in some cases (such as prop 8 in California) is moving backwards all together. Why do the people of power continue to force their useless laws that do little to help everyday people? Right now in my neighbourhood, it is now easier to get a gram of cocaine then it is to get a gram of marijuana. This is due to a recent flair up of police activity. There have been many pot related arrests in the past few weeks which has driven the market for pot sky high. So according to my government, I should be smoking cigarettes and snorting cocaine.
The whole problem to the system right now is that it is not designed to help anyone, just to prolong serious ongoing issues. We have created a system where people are set up for failure, whether it be drugs, prescription or street, finances with school, cars, houses designed to keep us is in debt indefinitely. We need to shed these negative things and unite to truly escape this inevitable fate. A major shift in humanity and society must take place before we as a species can move forward into the future. Until then, I'll be sitting here barking, puffing away on my bong.
