i just watched this on his website. the dude brings up a very good point which most people haven't addressed.
The NK regime survives by keeping its citizens brainwashed. It hands them convinced that America is evil, the world is awful and life under Kimmie is swimming compared to the horrors surrounding them. However, recently the North and the South have opened several cooperative business ventures inside NK that facilitates interactions between North a South Koreans. From this, the northern workers have learned that the beliefs taught to them from childhood are errant and it slowly began to spread.
mind you this is only part of the reason for the current bullshit from kimmy but the reality is that if the people learn about the possibility of a better life kimmy and his family will lose their hold on the people. The military propaganda has been increased basically to secure his hold over the populace.
