Washington Post Makes Fun of Kidnapped Human Rights Activists-How sick is that!
Heres a taste, you can decide if you want to read more-in fact, do just that and read the comments that are in favor of what I think. (remember, the boat was in INTERNATIONAL WATERS-a blatant act of piracy.)
--------------
Somehow we didn't think we had seen the last of Cynthia McKinney.
The former controversial congresswoman from Georgia has resurfaced - on a boat in the Mediterranean Sea trying to deliver supplies to Gaza.
Israeli forces arrested McKinney and other passengers on board the ship, according to a group called Free Gaza, which said on its Web site that McKinney and the others "have been illegally incarcerated for their solidarity work with Palestine."
The Israeli Consulate General of Israel in Atlanta, however, accused McKinney and her fellow travelers of waging a "reckless political stunt."

some comments there:
Regardless of who she is or what she has done, she is an American citizen who has been arrested without probable cause and is being held against her will. When will President Obama stand up and say something?
--------------
This woman was on a boat with an international crew and other humanitarians delivering aid to the Gazans which are under seige and blockade by the IDF (Israeli Defense Forces). Most Americans don't even know about this much less care. They were in INTERNATIONAL WATERS, so this makes this crime by the Israelis kidnapping and piracy. This article gives the timeline of Cynthia's service as a Congresswoman but no mention of the position and the article makes it sound like she ran for President all these different times. (Defeated by what?) Very misleading, biased and flawed.
-----------------
Mary Ann you said you would write a humorous column with expose es. Well, the arrest of an American citizen on a humanitarian mission is not humorous. Nor does the arrogant flouting of international law by the Israelis make me laugh. Was that your goal?

And on it goes, a columnist who has as much compassion as a slice of bread...to Cynthia McKinney, courage of the like seldom seen...

terrorists, that's all isreal is.
it's their national policy sadly, and we have armed them to the teeth (like so many other terrorists organizations).
i wonder if that will come back to bite us in the end.
-
There is a word for what Israel has done - piracy. Piracy is against international law and should be punished most severely.
-
The right leaning Washington Post has less credibility than it should due to years long bias. The article making fun of captured activists enforces that statement, and reduces their credibility to near zero.
-
Israel is gonna do what Israel is gonna do. These aren't people who beat you up in high school, they're nations. Even if Israel did something butt fucking insane, there would be no retaliation. Well at least not from a UN like body.

As usual you've left out much more truth than you've put in.
No where did I read that they were in international waters, McCrazy just said "they weren't in Israeli waters" that's not the same as international waters, they were in "waters internationally recognized as under Israeli control" As Obama asked Israel to let in aid and reconstruction materials, and they are, but they don't have to let any old crazy racist, and anti-semite deliver them.

The capture by the Israeli navy of the boat "The Spirit of Humanity" in international waters adds piracy to the list of crimes perpetrated by the rogue Zionist state
