I am so disgusted by this entirely unshocking and entirely plausible event.

OK she made a galactic mistake and should probably be a revered member or the epic fail all of fame but come on now, give her a break. Let he who is not interested in seeing the video cast the first stone.

That's just a bad mistake. She gonna have to resign because of a accident. I feel bad for the teacher. But when you leave sex education to the school system, this is what you get. Starting sex-ed at 5th grade is a bit early.

Unlucky teacher, I'm sure the parents won't look at her the same again. But usually before i give something out or submit something i play it to check for such things or mishaps of wrong footage, if she did this like any normal person this would have been avoided. Its her faught for being stupid in this case.

Hopefully with the next rounds of DVDs the parents will check it beforehand - cause knowing the schools' luck probable end up being a copy of Brokeback Mountain sent instead!

This is one of those scenarios where you just don't know what to say/comment. The story itself is the funniest documentary of the year but I gain I am resisting to laugh because it involves minors viewing unintended dvd. I feel bad that kids had to go though that. But I again, it is still funniest story.

I don't think she deserved to be fired or prosecuted. It was mixed-up unintentional act.

This doesn't happened by accident. I edit and make dvds all the time, and this is not something that "just happens". Anyone who has edited films knows this. Now, if I film myself yanking my meat and "mistakenly" show it children, I'm going to jail, loosing my career and am marked for life. I hope she goes to court for this. Let the jury decide. I would also have the woman tested for drugs. BTW, is pleasuring yourself on film now the norm? WTF

Really Really stupid but children are not as fragile as some people think. And you would think that the children would understand what was going on in the tape if the sex ed class was effective :) EPIC FAIL :)

You'd think she would've put it on a seperate DVD and would have been waaaayyy more careful. Even if she retains her job she'll always be known as the teacher who made a porno... Was she ugly? I couldn't tell.

This is the internet age. They've already seen this stuff. Parents just don't realize it because they make it too taboo to discuss.

The most offensive thing about this newscast was the reporter, gallivanting around in his tight jeans. All phoniness and no professionalism. I also hate it when journalists make judgement calls like "surely this is one of the most embarrassing moments of her life" or whatever, which is certainly possible, but by no means a certainty.

By the fifth grade you shouldn't have to explain it to them.

Your kids aren't scarred for life. Have the uncomfortable "birds and the bees" talk earlier and under circumstances you don't like. Then move on. It was a talk that had to come sooner or later. If it takes all night to explain to your kid what he saw on the video he/she is really sheltered because they probably have been watching worse things on tv when you aren't around.

Either way that's hilarious...her husband probably was making his home sex dvd while making his wifes video at the same time and something got mixed up.

How does that accidentally happen? I'm not saying she intentionally put this clip on this video, but, come on. She's a teacher. Teachers always preach "proof read before submission", don't they?

Wait... one parent was up all night TRYING to explain it? TRYING? Either that parent explained it or he/she didn't. And how hard is it to say "the teacher accidentally put something in the DVD that she did not intend for you to watch"?

And after that little display, did anyone REALLY expect the teacher to show up in front of the news crew to be interviewed about it???
