Iran's former President denounces phony election

Khatami decries the corrupt process. The tiresome and unimaginative thugs who control Iran are becoming more tedious as each day goes by.

    Not much doubt of foulplay, but it's great when influencial figures denounce the farce.

    The Muslim world needs to speak out about this. Ahmadinejad has clearly influenced this election and stolen it and wants to say Obama is like Bush?! Ahmadinejad is a Hussein/Bush hybrid. And I dont know much about Mousavi but if he is the person the people wanted then they should have him!

    RIP Neda Soltani!!

    Well, we wouldn't expect Obama to make any kind of rash statement that could be seen as meddling in the internal affairs of another country.

    That was yesterday...but today...

    today he KNOWS that the overthrow of the criminal ex-President Zelaya was "a coup" and even "illegal"....

    So, what exactly IS the Obama doctrine?
    "I never saw a socialist I didn't like"?!
    "Keep your enemies close and your friends...what friends?"
    "I have learned so much from Chavez and Castro"
    "We will not criticize electoral fraud; hell, we plan to use it!"

    Curtis i have no idea what you are even talking about. Are you saying that Obama used electoral fraud?! If so, oooo-kay. Let us all flash back to Florida 8 years ago.

    @Curtis

    you could have a promising career with Fox News. Little fact, lots of imagination, and a clear hatred for progress. Plus, you're really good at putting words in others people's mouths. Go get em tiger.

    @wakeup... how true indeed... i'm actually even surprised at the number of conservative people on this site... i mean i started watching the channel because of all of the liberal-leaning content... and my wife told me that al gore is key money-contributor or co-founder of this station or something like that... they just love to ruin everybody's party huh? i say we go over to fox news msg boards and harrass them... of course if that happened then the facists would probably just have us booted

    I'm pleasantly surprised at the number of liberals on this site. Havent you noticed how many members give the Republicans and the religious fanatics a hard time?
