Eh to each their own. Personally Im not a fan of them, my boyfriend and I always laugh when we see someone wearing the really ridiculous ones that go all the way up their calf. They just dont seem to flatter anyone's legs and rather make them look stumpy.
But theyre not as bad as crocs or anything like that. I put them in the same category as Uggs, not cute but not horrendous. The shorter ones with less straps are passable, but the ones that go any further (like the pic I attached) are just costumey looking IMO.
