The End of Music Criticism

Christopher R. Weingarten Music Writer for RollingStone.com and the Village Voice Speaking at The 140 Characters Conference. Weingarten speaks on the lack of music criticism since the rise of Internet music blogs and how that lack of "true" criticism is not only putting him and other music writers out of a job but in some regards are closing people off from finding music outside of their comfort zones.

As a huge fan of music, and musician as well, I have a love/hate relationship with music critics. After viewing this I have a bit more love for the critic. not much, but a bit more. :D
