infoMania
re-size
In his weekly roundup of the crazy world of 24-hour media madness, Conor Knighton looks at Megan Joy's awful version of 'Rockin Robin' on American Idol. This week he also looks at Joe Jackson's classy intro to his new record company, the BET Awards' tribute to the King of Pop, T Pain' s Big Ass Chain, Corey Haim's weird trip to Neverland Ranch, a sweet car chase in Dallas, Mark Sanford's Twitter apology, and the kinky sex lives of our Founding Fathers.

infoMania is a half-hour satirical news show that airs on Current TV. The show puts a comedic spin on the 24-hour chaos and information overload brought about by the constant bombardment of the media. Hosted by Conor Knighton and co-starring Brett Erlich, Sarah Haskins, Ben Hoffman, and Sergio Cilli, the show airs on Thursdays at 10 pm Eastern and Pacific Times and can be found online at http://current.com/infomania/ or on Current TV. Media coverage has gone apeshit. Usually, I can avoid the bizarro stupido idioto cable "news" - but not last week (had to watch). So coverage of the coverage is a good thing. IM to the rescue.

Watching the news is almost like buying yourself a pair of tickets to the circus... except not the fun kind.

Forgot how much I enjoy watching Infomania.

That Shepard Smith car chase narration should become a national phenomenon. No joke!
