With the world still going gadget crazy despite a global recession more of us are buying more gadgets. Whilst the specs keep getting better one thing that continues to any a lot of users is rubbish batteries. Either they are too big or too small and run down too quickly (see iPhone).
So it was only a matter of time before someone released som next gen batteries, and these babies are super slim and made using a process similar to a t-shirt press.
"Weighing in at less than 1g and measuring less than a millimetre thick, the 1.5V battery is printed using a silk-screen technique, similar to that used for T-shirts. A “rubber lip presses the printing paste through a screen onto the substrate”, scientists at the Fraunhofer Research Institution in Germany said. A mask marks out the area to be printed."
I want a full body battery suit to hook up my mobile, iPod, iPhone, laptop, netbook and electric fan all at once.....
