Supposedly this is a good thing for her so she can prepare herself for presidential run in 2012. No doubt that if she wins she can resign if that doesn't work out as well. No scandal coming-does this fool really believe that.
Her statement she was not going to do politics as usual is true-delusional is never usual. -
I don't understand the presidential run speculation. The 2012 election is three and a half years away, and resigning her governorship would only harm her chances at winning. Had she finished, she'd still have ample time to run. And the idea that she even has a shot in hell is ludicrous to begin with.
Is there even any precedent for a politician leaving office before their term is up to pursue a presidential campaign that's years away?
