Another horrible gameshow polluting our Airwaves!
spiritual guides from the four faiths will seek to convert a group of non-believers.
The prize for converts will be a pilgrimage to a holy site of their chosen religion -- Mecca for Muslims, the Vatican for Christians, Jerusalem for Jews and Tibet for Buddhists.
"We don't approve of anyone being an atheist. God is great and it doesn't matter which religion you believe in. The important thing is to believe," Soylu said
its like having god buy you off.

LOL, but you don't have to believe in god to be a Buddhist, so I'm going to go ahead and call that a FAIL! Very interesting idea though, I wonder if they'll convince anyone!

The VATICAN?!!! Do you suppose they know that among a fair number of the Christ-based religions there are indeed many who would like to visit the Vatican...in order to burn it to the ground?
Sigh. Yes, this sounds quite cheesy...and not in a good way...
What do you suppose the odds are that we will ever see so-called "reality shows" (my wife asked me to watch one with her last night. I only lasted 15 minutes and came away quite certain that it was at least 90% scripted) with titles like: "America's Finest Mind" or "Fundamentally Decent Couples" or "America's Most Charitable?" Personally, I am rooting for "How to be Rich on $50,000 a Year or Less"

i would fake any of the religions long enough to go to any of those places, there all incredible

Why the hell did you put this in Comedy??

Sounds intense. Hope there are some thoughtful and spirited (heh) atheists involved. And I hope Buddhism isn't misrepresented more than it already has been in that article. Not sure what sort of Buddhist monk would attempt to convert an atheist since they're not mutually exclusive, as Delia mentioned.
-
One of two things can happen. Either they convert at least one atheist or they don't convert anyone. If they convert one of them then I highly doubt that the show is a "reality" show, because it takes a lot more than a few religious dudes to convert someone.
But no one will watch the show if none of them are converted...
So in my opnion the show will be staged, like all reality shows, and you will see around 4-5 guys get converted...

Me thinks they would just hire some actors to "pretend" to be atheist, then magically "convert" on the air. BOOM Instant ratings.
These assholes clearly have no issue with lying to get their way. After all, they lie all the time. They lied about Darwin converting on his death bed.

If you can't be converted, Will they sent you to Las Vegas?

i am a damn proud athiest, i believe in science and most importantly MUSIC
