Three Horsesman (Horsepersons) of the Republican Apocalypse
Senator Ensign, Governors Palin and Sanford all prominent members of their party and legitimate contenders for the next Republican nominee for President have once again proven the adage - they go in threes. More shocking then the recent rash of celebrity deaths is the death of these political careers. Much like the death of pop star Michael Jackson, the methods of the politicians demise is most intriguing.
What is truly afoot here? Has the public intellect finally evolved to the point where the mindless madness of the Republican mantra is no longer effective? Is this a super secret plot of Mitt Romney's or Rudy Giuliani perhaps? More likely than not they are the victims of the instant information age making the politics of hypocrisy all but obsolete. Failure to adjust, to adapt is thinning the heard and these are the latest and most prominent casualties.
