I'm too busy laughing to want to break up the verbal ping pong match between you folks. But the point based on fact is being missed here. Palin did not go into politics to selflessly serve the little guy and gal. She went into politics to serve herself, and immediate family as an extension of herself. Big ambitions without big talent to back it up spell big greed. The term embezzelment has been around for a long, long time. So there's no need to feel defensive on the basis of gender or affiliation. Palin has already shown she's unfit to be President, but has persisted in that childhood dream anyway as if it doesn't matter. To Palin public service means the public is destined to serve her as her vehicle to get to the top since she has appointed herself the contested designated driver. That's all the 2012 Presidential Election is to her, a contest to see whether P.T.Barnum was correct in saying "Every minute there's a sucker born, and a carny & shill to take their money, so never give a sucker an even break" Palin makes appeals to emotion which is a scurrilous form of rabble rousing.
She appeals to the ignorant and fearful. And in the last election she had very real scandals stealing from her own party. Considering her ties to a secessionalist party which hates the USA, I'm not surprised. But it kills me to see people gloss over that as if it doesn't matter that she's characteristicly a liar, cheat, and thief. Politics has corrupted and mind controlled many, many people so I guess it's par for the course to see her fly under the radar so often. I hope she does get Indicted if only to present her with the kind of reality contact she can't lie and spin her way out of, or exploit to our detriment.

Since Bush and Cheney falsely led us to war with Iraq and Larry "wide stance" Craig never resigned we now have the Christian right wing's "Luv Guv", Republican Mark Sanford, fighting to stay in office after his Appalachian "hike" turned out to be a trip to Argentina.

Press Core, I share your indignation at watching the spin as countless Republican voters are either willing to overlook obvious flaws in their top leaders or are simply too stupid to see them.
