Botswana: GM foods could be a big risk

Image...
The rhetoric Monsanto uses in misleading us all that GM foods can "feed the world" always refers to Africa as if those in Africa do not have the ability to grow their own food. What an insult. As this article lays out, there is more than enough food that can be grown in our world naturally if people had proper access to it. The people of Africa as in much of this world do not want GM foods shoved down their throats regardless of the PR of the companies using them in their PR schemes. The WTO, World Bank, and governments in collusion with them are doing all in their power to take away the power local farmers have to decide for themselves how they wish to grow food and in the process are killing biodiversity which is the lynchpin of the future sustainability not only of developing countries but of the world.
