Seems interesting that a musician would be in support of something that has killed so many of the greatest musicians in the world (Jon Bonham, Billie Holiday, Gram Parsons, Ray Charles, Jimi Hendrix, Rick James, Jim Morrison, Ike Turner, Dee Dee Ramone, Janis Joplin, Michael Jackson (?!?)... just to name a FEW)... I would think an artist would steer away from publicity in favor of drugs out of respect.
Or was it the drugs that made those artists so great?... Hmm... Expanding the mind...

That's quite a waste of money. But then again, if Oasis' songs are in any way inspired by drugs then maybe the $1,000,000 was worth it. It's really not a surprise considering that he is a rock star. Although, his comment towards Chris Martin was rather immature. Sounded like something the druggies at my high school would say.

My ex that loved Oasis and drugs would give this story three thumbs up, for sure... Great music though, there's no denying it.

Jimi Hendrix was murdered by his manager.

I think ripping off the Beatles is what made him great. The drugs only made the thievery acceptable.

Didn't Alex James of Blur already claim to have spent that much on cocaine in the 90's? He did a whole BBC special on it. And the brit-pop feud continues....

There was a band called The Stone Roses. If you've never heard of them check out this pitchfork review of their first album, but this band pretty much made it possible for an Oasis to exist
