I've had posts where the headline was rewritten and another post where the image I used was used for another post that was featured. I commented "Nice picture". Then after a little time a few days old posting was featured. Weird.

We the users are just that, users. We don't own this site but it seems like employees are given the freedom to twist things.

Oh well. If you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen. Weird heat but oh well.

Thanks ya for ur comments, I have seen so much weird stuff going on like posts keep being buryed so much, even with all the green light votes I feel like somebody keeps creating accounts to put me down so I feel like I have to get more and more people to vote it back up. It seems like every article that has good points of view and solutions to problems it gets put down by some hidden scheme of voting me down till I'm off the first page of the category, off the front page, or not given any article featuring when it seems like an editor liked my work and she said she wanted to feature it and then I hear nothing from her within weeks.

because it does not go against Al Gores agenda of cap and trade, they allow things if it makes me look crazy.

It seems like the only anti cap and trade articles that get featured is ones stating that we might be paid by Exxon to stop the climate change bill or they claim that GOP (anti hated by American people) dislikes cap and trade but what about David Wilcock a spiritual expert who researched into NASA data about the sun spots and sun warming up the galaxy and atmosphere.

What about all the people that want freedom such as Patrick Henry Jolly, Alex Jones, David Icke, so many people believes madmade climate change is a fraud to tax and steal from American people.

The fact a editor wanted to feature my article and then kept quiet shows shes been threatened or her chairman boss Al Gore threatened to fire her and not give her paychecks for her work if she featured a article on current that would destroy Cap and trade what AL Gore worked for.

Also the clean water bill being passed will take away our private property rights, the FDA bill will destroy our rights to sell food from our own private grown gardens which deliberately destroys the farmers market which is a tradition since this country was made and farming became run by families instead of corporate factory farms that attempt to ruin Americans health with corn syrup and making us have to take more drugs from doctors which makes us slaves to the medical establishment.

You know how many times PFP has been voted #1 BY THE PEOPLE and yet no featuring, no twitterbots, no nothing to get it on TV or anything else. That's right, our articles will get sometimes get #1 for hours and nothing comes of it. In fact, they will prop up/feature horrible stories that don't matter in order to censor and hide the pertinent information! There are also MAY times one of our articles has floated right at 21st for hours, regardless of the friends telling you they are voting it up....fascist censorship is what it is called. The less they get the people thinking the better for the bureaucrats and power hungry politicians in D.C. Not saying you aren't crazy, but your article does hold some weight. Peace

Well, the staff usually has the featured part (for several days), from their own post, and their own editor's picks, its very rare that a user get the featured....

But I would not exactly call it censorship, but its lacking the constant movement of posts circulating around Current, but that has always happend for a long time...

I have a bagful of complaints I have raised with current management and staff.

I must say I have been pleased with the response rate and courtesy from all of them.

I have my complaints still.

Bruno, Fact is the utube works perfectly. Fact is that the TV manager nicked the link and posted it on the front page. Fact is that current write the rules for current staff to do as they please. Fact is that many members are upset by this. Fact is I'm one of the few to speak out. If you are just a tech guy why did you involve yourself in poster content? I'm a tech trained girl too......Fiber Optics and Cisco.............Only I'm in the media business now. For your skills I know you must have a Mensa IQ like me....or close. I have affinity with the techies. Look, let's forgive you, but think about it from my point of view.......everyday I get messages from members upset by staff stealing their stories and posting them frontpage, and also saying that it is always the same people who end up on front page. I know one chap posts the contents of the Huffington Post daily and it just makes the front page every time. Then we have the XXXX chap who is banned and he keeps coming back.....right now someone tells me he is posting as XXXX. At the end of the day current does not care. Meanwhile I am upset as Iran is my favourite country.......I lived there as a young stewardess in the days of the Shah. Night...after 1am here in Ireland. anna

there is alot of weird stuff going around at current. I've been censored in some weird ways-BUT, there are some good people there. As far as the politics and big money-of course THAT rules. Some people will sell their souls for gold-and other peoples they will rent!

Generally I try not to be rude, but this post is a load of bs. I'd like to point out two things

1-The obvious: Current is a private corporation that can do whatever it wants to its website, that includes enforcing its rules.

2-Irony: The irony of this censorship complaint is that this article hasn't been taken off Current. Furthermore the article is #1 on the News section (but obviously doesn't belong there)

...this isn't news, so why is it on the news page?

If you seriously think that the current TV staffers are conspiring against your posts/productions/opinions, think again. You're hardly a spec on their radar and they have much bigger fish to fry.

GET THIS OFF THE NEWS PAGE. There are dozens of important current events that should be posted in this spot instead.

It isn't the Current editors messing with your ranking - it is the readers who have some sense of what is reasonable. YOU are not reasonable - paranoid, maybe, but not reasonable. THAT is why your ranking drops, buddy.

our team occasionally needs to remove tags from items if they do not apply. for example, as jcub points out this is not a news item, and as sarahlane (full disclosure, she is our online producer for tech) points out, this is not a tech story. both of these tags have been removed.

however, the removal of these tags are not forms of censorship. the item and the conversation remains intact on Current.com. we encourage you guys to participate in discussions on Current, so long as you do not violate our community guidelines (please read these, i've posted the link above).

when a community guidelines violation occurs, the community member who posted the violation is contacted and the matter is privately discussed and resolved.
