Simon Pegg toady is celebrating becoming a father of a baby girl, after his wife gave birth last week.
Pegg wrote on his blog: "As is being reported by various news sources, we had a little girl last week."
Pegg, also added that he didn't know who had leaked the news to the press, "'cos it wasn't us".
The Spaced and Star Trek star, , thanked fans for their wishes and added, "everyone is well".
His manager confirmed the news but said that "no further statement" or information would be released.
Pegg, who shooting his new comedy Paul in the US, wrote on his blog: "Name, weight, time, place etc all belong to us.
"We won't be going out of our way to divulge them anytime soon."
