As recession puts men ot of work women feel the impact
This article has me wondering if the recession could be a great thing for the feminist movement ...
About 1.4 million women have lost their jobs in the economic turndown - and 2 million have seen their husbands lose their jobs. Many women react with panic at suddenly becoming the primary breadwinner for their household - but could this mark the begininning of a new era? As men are forced out the workforce, maybe (finally) wives will grow comfortable and proud of being working women.
