Every since the tasers came along the police have gone crazy with them. It's like they were just waiting for a way to shoot people with out killing them so they wouldn't be prosecuted for murder. They need to find better ways of weeding out these egotistical morons before they hit the streets.

I always thought police were bound by a force continuum where they could only apply force according to what the subject applies. I saw a video of a 70 year old women getting tazed by a 200 lb cop. Einstein once said Technological advancement is like an axe in the hands of a pathological criminal. We need to learn that injustice to one is injustice to all and we need to put political pressure for these police officers to be punished. "Peace cannot be kept by force. It can only be achieved by understanding" another of Einstein's quotes.

never use a weapon or force against one who is un-equal to the force used. like say a police chief using a weapon of any sort against a teenage girl.

This is not a escaping criminal or felon. This person wasn't even under arrest. Just a scared teen asking for help from the police. Perhaps that was her biggest mistake.
