Israel's new online disinformation project pays bloggers for pro-Israel comments

Even though this writer is opposed to the Israel Foreign MInistry plan to hire blogger to post pro-Israel comments, the readers commenting think it is a good idea.

Remember, in the Jan 2009 Gaza onslaught in which Israel used chemical weapons on an unarmed population, there was a similar disinformation program launched on popular sites like Facebook and YouTube to present a white-washed account of Operation Cast Lead.

"Thought-police is here"

"The Foreign Ministry unveiled a new plan this week: Paying talkbackers to post pro-Israel responses on websites worldwide. A total of NIS 600,000 (roughly $150,000) will be earmarked to the establishment of an “Internet warfare” squad.

The Foreign Ministry intends to hire young people who speak at least one language and who study communication, political science, or law – or alternately, Israelis with military experience gained at units dealing with information analysis.

The sad truth is that had Israeli citizens believed that their State is doing the right thing, they would have made sure to explain it out of their own accord. Without being paid. "

This is because Israel cannot and will not stand for thousands to voice their dissent against what it has done.

In fact, it has become the ENEMY, perpetrating crimes very similar to what was done to its own people for centuries.

Israel is out of control. Now they want to be the Thought-Police???? Plllllease!
