Robert Rodriguez’s most awaited project Machete is to start shooting in Austin at the end of this month, and it looks like he’s started filling out the cast. Danny Trejo will of course, play the Mexican madman bent on revenge.
According to a number of sources, Michelle Rodriguez, Jonah Hill, and Robert De Niro may have parts in the movie. Johah Hill and DeNiro are two unexpected names for the project. Hill could be playing someone named “Julio” and De Niro a senator named McLaughlin.

Awesome. I think the title is a little misleading though. I thought De Niro would be playing Machete. I was thinking WTF, he can't still Danny Trejo's part. There is no way this movie can fail! That's an awesome cast.
