Joe Perez was written off by doctors and ridiculed by the other kids in the South Bronx, but with the help of a father unwilling to give up on him, Joe became a champion power lifter and the first quadriplegic to run a marathon, and the New York City Marathon at that! Now in training in Jujutsu, one of his great lifelong passions, Joe plans to put on a demonstration so the children currently being told they'll amount to nothing because of their disabilities will know that so much is possible for them.
