As reported by Reuters, Children's Hospital Research Institute and the University of Washington, Seattle performed a research on different prevention ways to stop genital herpes.The advantage of using condoms in order not to be infected with HIV, Chlamydia, and gonorrhea is confirmed for a long time.
The source of genital herpes is simplex virus-2 (HSV-2). Genital herpes is causing painful irritations. The worse is, that if infected with HSV-2, a person will carry it for his lifetime.
When results of the research came out, it became obvious that, when using condoms people have 30 percent less chances to become infected with virus.
Even though the results of the study do not promise you 100% shield, at least it is a partial protection.
