Double Amputee Puts His Best Foot Forward for the Greater Good
Meet Jordan Thomas, a basic teen from a well-to-do family. He and his family vacation annually and go about their lives without fanfare or incident, or at least they used to. One year while in the Florida Keys Jordan found himself in the water behind the boat being drawn into the moving propeller. When the ordeal was over Jordan had survived but lost both legs in the process. During his recovery he discovered other amputees in the very same hospital that could not afford the care or prosthesis they needed to recover as well as he had. Jordan took the opportunity to not only make the most of his situation but actually make it better for others as well.
