Health campaigners have branded a brewery producing 18.2% beer as irresponsible. BrewDog claims that Tokyo* is the strongest beer in Britain as each bottle contains six units of alcohol, which is twice the recommended daily limit.
However the brewers leapt to its defence saying that it will "cure" binge drinking. They said "We've been challenging people to drink less alcohol, and educating the palates of drinkers with progressive craft-brewed beers which have an amazing depth of flavour, body and character."
The stronger & more flavourful the beer tastes, the less of it you'll want to drink is their argument. Alcohol concern call this "laughable" & said the brewer was "completely deluded" if they thought the beer would cure drink problems.
What do you reckon?

That's such a ballsy defence! Technically, it will stop binge drinking because people will only need to drink the one bottle before they're urinating in bus stops and doing karaoke with their pants on their head.
